What makes our fostering agency different?

At To the Moon and Back Foster Care, we take a trauma-informed and relationship-based approach. Understanding how trauma can affect a child’s physical and emotional wellbeing helps our foster carers and team respond with curiosity, compassion and consistency.

We keep our social worker caseloads low so that we can build close relationships with our foster carers, children and young people. We also invest in ongoing training and support, helping carers feel prepared, valued and able to give each child the individual care they need.
